TX22 Striker Housing – Precision CNC-machined stainless steel striker housing insert for Taurus TX22 pistols. This is a true drop-in replacement for the factory plastic striker insert and requires no filing, polishing, or extra work when used with the stock OEM disconnector.
The factory plastic striker housing is a known weak point on the TX22. This CNC stainless version eliminates that weak point with a much more durable design and smooth internal channels for cleaner striker travel and more consistent function.
While this upgrade is especially valuable for users running Forced Reset Triggers (FRTs) — which accelerate wear on the plastic housing — it also benefits standard semi-automatic use by improving durability and adding a small amount of slide weight.
This TX22 striker housing adds approximately 1.25 oz (35.4 g) of weight to the slide. The added mass acts as a natural rate reducer, which can improve feeding reliability with high-velocity ammunition, suppressors, or when running an FRT.
Important: There are many different FRT designs available for the TX22. While this housing works as a direct drop-in with the stock OEM disconnector, certain FRT designs may require minimal additional modification for proper compatibility and function.
